    I had a shaft fitting at Club Champion for my 716 CBs. They recommended the Steelfiber i95 Stiff -1/2” based on my 6-iron swingspeed of 88 mph and a few other Trackman variables. If I’ve calculated correctly, this will drop my swingweight to C4 from the standard D2. Is there any way to get it back to D0-D2?

    Is there a trick to getting the Titleist folks to respond?

    Hi Copie, We would not be able to reshaft your set with Aerotech i95 S -1/2", stock grip, std wraps and get to D1. The highest we might be able to get to is C7. You could, however, use a super lightweight grip (25 grams) and add about 5 swingweights that way. We would recommend talking with your Club Champion fitter as you may have swung the club with a light swingweight, which may have contributed to more speed, etc.

    Thanks Cathi. I was afraid of that. I went back and looked at my Trackman report and 88 mph was with the stock steel shaft. I was at 90 with the graphite.
