So many have listed the success with a GT fitting. In my case, the TSR-2 no longer was providing adequate loft or spin at this time. Keeping this short moved to the GT-1 12 degree, went through the 3 basic shafts, Denali Red, Metal Mesh, and Air Speeder. All 3 have similar launch and spin profiles. Should be interchangeable. Well, no. The Denali just didn’t get the same smash factor. The Metal Mesh had a wider dispersion pattern. The Air Speeder was clearly better than the other 2, with the highest smash factor, launch, height, and spin. Even without the Trackman numbers, it really felt better. The point being, the Air Speeder was not what I expected. Anyone not going through a full fitting will likely miss the optimal combination.

That's exactly the same club and shaft that I ended up getting fit for. Wait until you try the GT1 Fairway Woods with the Air Speeder shaft. Holy Cow!!
