  1. Hi, I last got fitted 9 years ago, miz through the bag and feel it's a time for a change. I really like the look of the T150 & T250.

My main issue is I hate my current 3 wood to the extent I just don't use it anymore, my current thought process is to either go with a hybrid or the u505 2 iron.

What are people's thoughts on the u505?

It's a good option for those who like to play irons over hybrids. I have a TSR2 18 hybrid bumped up to 19, and the U505 4 iron, and they are both great clubs. Both hit well off a tee, and a good clean fairway. The distance is average about 10 yards longer with the hybrid, but the rough around here really grabs my hybrid so I typically will use the U505 for that. Seems to cut through the rough a little easier.
Other option is I have several people telling me to keep out of the rough. Still working on that.
Best advice is always go with a fitter, but you can always give them a try and find out what works best for you.

Getting fit is a great idea. Getting fit at a Titleist sponsored fitting is even better.

Among the hundreds of users that post their opinions here, there are separate groups that favor a fairway wood, hybrid, or driving iron. Impossible to predict which will work best for you. Other than you’ve ruled out a fairway after your irons.

The Titleist fitter will work with you on alternatives after your last iron. Even possible that you might do well with a 4 or 5 wood with a different shaft than what you have now. Let the fitter explain the best options for you to cover all your distance gaps, after watching you hit them.
