Hi all, I have been viewing the forum for quite some time now and wanted to share my experiences of my fitting at NFC Scotland in Edinburgh. First off all I want  to thank Graeme for my fitting and we looked at driver,3 wood and hybrids.

With the driver we both thought initially that the D3 would be more suited to my game but after 20 minutes switched to the D2 and immediately got better results. Ended up going with D2 Ahina 72 x flex shaft with C1 setting. From what I can remember from trackman ball speed was about 163 mph.

As I hit a lot of 3 woods off the tee the 910fd was a natural choice and went with the fairway version of the driver shaft in the same setting. We then looked at distance gaps and worked from distances of my 4 iron. That was around 205 yards so there was only a need for one hybrid rather than the two I carry at the moment. Went for the 19 degree hybrid with same shaft and setting. I have just received the 3 wood and am waiting for the driver and 3 wood next.

Overall an excellent experience and I can't stress enough to you all that titleist custom fitting is a must if you want the best out of your game. The whole experience was much more professional than my previous miz fit for my irons so will look out for the new titleist irons next year.

Please feel free to ask any questions about the fitting and clubs I have oredered.

  2. I was at the fitting centre at Kings Acre a few months back and had a similar fantastic experience with Graeme!  Was so glad I went to the national centre and not to an American Golf or something, was blown away by the quality of the service at Titleist!  Ever so slightly better than the "1 inch extra, 2 degrees upright, that should do you" fit my old man got a few years ago at a local store!

I am 6"3' and therefore expected at least an extra inch and few degrees upright, but almost ended up with standard length and lie which was getting impact closest to the centre of the face!  In the end, went for half an inch longer and 1 degree upright, AP2s 3-PW.  The driver fitting was fantastic too, also got the 9.5 D2 Ahina 72 X shaft on setting D1.  Toyed with the D3 but D2 fitted my eye better and Graeme managed to dial me in to produce a flatter lower spinning flight compared to my old driver which was spinning at way above 4000rpm!

We spent so long on driver and irons almost ran out of time and got a very quick wedge fit too, Graeme had seen so much of me by then though that I trusted his judgement!
