  1. I'm looking to switch from my LZ shafts in a 6.0 (120g) setup to the new Project X Red in a 6.5 (120g)

Just wondering if anyone here has hit the new red in this weight and difference in feel / flight

I don't know anything about the Red's . Please let me know what your thoughts are on it. I love my LZ's though! Good luck!

I was fit into the Project X Red 6.0 and purchased the set of T250’s with them. These of course are 10 grams lighter than yours, and I have used the LZ before and the LZ will have more of a kick in the middle of the shaft, more feedback.

I think the reds are good, more launch than the original blues and a little more spin, but I went back to my T150’s with the Nippon Modus 105 stiff. The click of the hollow head in the 250 drove me crazy, I like the forged feel. I think it was more the head than the shaft, not sure, but the LZ will have more feedback, softer in the middle, more spin and launch just as high than the reds IMO, that is based on my results.

I’m a sold Nippon Modus guy, great feeling shaft in different weights and I’ve hit the 120’s and 105’s, even have them in my wedges.
