  1. Hey there, i recently got fit for a titleist 910 d3 but i'm not liking the head. I like the 909d3 much better.  i was fitting for a diamana whiteboard 83 X on the 910 d3 and i want to put the same shaft on my 909 d3.  IS IT POSSIBLE TO TAKE OFF THE ADJUSTABLE TIP FOR THE 910 AND PUT IN ON THE 909D3?  ARE THE SHAFTS DIFFERENT BECAUSE OF THE ADJUSTABLE TIP? DOES REMOVING THE TIP AFFECT THE LENGTH OF THE SHAFT??? THANK YOU

Yes it is possible if done by a qualified club maker But as the above post, what don't you like about the 910D3?? different shafts work differently in different heads so maybe that shaftf doesn't quite work for you in the new head. Give it another shot, it's a great head and IMO the control and flight into the wind is much better with the new heads
  4. i just like the hot feel and sound that the club face makes.  I also think it launches the ball a little higher which I don't like.  the 909D3 was very good at keeping it down.

Easy to remove. You just need a new ferrule to put adjustable shaft tip on another shaft. The shafts from titleist are all .335 so it should go right in.  As far as length goes, I have never pulled a sure fit tip then put it into another head. I have done the reverse though to customize and spine shafts from another driver into a surefit tip so that favorite shaft goes in a 910. Length hasn't been an issue.  Titleist would rather reshaft your 909 for you otherwise they wont warranty it. You need to be very careful reshafting graphite. Heating can damage the shaft. When you are dealing with a very expensive shaft like that it makes more sense to sell it and get your 909 reshafted with a brand new Diamana Whiteboard 83x. Also if you are using that set up you probably have "Tour level" club head speed and that would increase chance of shaft failure.
