The 2015 and 2016 are the same current model, introduced in 2015. The arrowhead itself is separate from the short alignment line on each side, and the lines/arrowheads are gray, not black. The Pro V1 lettering is in black.

On the previous model (2013/14) the alignment line/arrow was also in gray, but the line and arrowhead were not separated by any space.
  3. Hi,

I normally play with DT solos. However I was given a Velocity and decided to make it my ball of choice for teeing off a once in a lifetime family golf game at the Old Course, St Andrews. I’m off 22 and shot a 91. Net 69. A lifetime best (at 66 years old). It’s a Velocity numbered 00 in orange numbering. How can I find what year the ball is from? Is it 2016 or 2018. I’ve kept it as a souvenir but would like to buy some similar.

The side stamp changes every two years. It looks like the 2019 ball will have the 2017 side stamp, but in gray.
