I’m more of a Pro V1 guy in my opinion. Not because of price or quality but in terms of feel and roll. I really only play the Pro V1 ball but if anyone has an argument against this please feel free to shoot!

No one should ever tell you which ball to play. A proper ball fitting should give you some feedback as to how each ball reacts to your swing but ultimately, you need to decide which one gives you the most confidence on the course. For some people it might be the ProV1, others might be ProV1x, or one of the other Titleist models. Once you pick one, playing that one ball and not bouncing around will give you the best consistency.

You cannot go wrong with either the ProV1 or the ProV1x. I changed my driver swing this summer with more consistency focusing on trying to hit more up on the ball and changing the face angle at address. I am getting even a little higher ball flight than usual with the ProV1x 25 ball, hitting more fairways, and getting a tighter dispersion. For curiousity, I played my round yesterday with the ProV1 23, to compare the difference with the new swing. Definitely like Titleist mentions a little lower more penetrating ball flight off of the tee, but with new swing was launching my drives higher with the new swing even with the ProV1, and ended up with 5 birdies yesterday, which may be a personal best. I ended up getting a box of the ProV1 25s today at national sporting goods retailer by me. Both balls are fantastic. I am going to head out after work in the next few weeks, and do a side by side comparison (alot of rain forecast this week by me).
