  1. What is the difference between the pro v 1 and the pro v 1 left dash?

  2. Left Dash reduces spin as compared to pro v1, especially on full shots, which can help high-spin players gain distance and reduce ballooning.

Left Dash also launches higher, helping players who want height without increasing spin (ideal for windy conditions or high-speed players).

Does anyone know when they will have the next version of the Pro-v1x Left Dash?

Maybe they don't need one. Kind of stands alone and does just what it was designed to do.

With all due respect, and I mean this sincerely, unless you're a superior striker of the ball, you can barely spot a difference. Even with the ProV1 vs the ProV1X, you need to be very consistent to even see a significant trajectory difference, and that's among players with higher club head speed. Those stats listed are generated with an Iron Byron type machine that can actually repeat the swing at different path and swing angles, not to be confused with the average golfer that hits a few greens a round.

I beg to differ. Maybe I’m unique and I am far from a great striker of the ball but I have always been able to tell the difference in feel and results of each ball type I have played. Trajectory, roll out, spin on the greens, and especially the feel of chips and putts. That’s why I do not play multiple ball types. I need the consistent feel and predictability from one ball type.

I agree with Dale different balls do act different find what works best for you and stick with it. I personally like a firm feeling ball and the left dash works for me and feels good.

Ha! Exactly why I can tell the difference - because I only hit a few greens a round. Differences are too subtle on putting - the amount of click doesn’t affect me. Not near as much as green speed.
But for pitching, I see a difference on height and rollout. I may have to exclude less than perfect contact but with well-struck shots, I can tell.

I tried them after a fitting at Woburn, I was using ProV1 Yellow but on trial I got on well with them but missed the Yellow ball. If they bring out a Yellow version I would switch permanently.

The biggest difference is going to be your shot window. But I've played the standard Pro V1 up until this year and wound up switching to Left Dash because of the spin window. The 2025 V1 just wants to curve too much for my liking, particularly off the driver. When dealing with the nuances of ball fitting, it’s all about trying them out ON THE COURSE. Because, as always, your mileage may vary.
