What it sounds like is that the double dot is a mix of a pro v1 x and a left dash. If that's right then I think that would be a great ball for the market. am i right or wrong? I would love for it to come to white box testing or retail. I'm interested to hear thoughts

Adding another ball version to the assembly line will create an impact to the current production schedules. In order for the company to consider investment in materials and adjustment impacts to the build process, they would have to be convinced that sales would make it worth doing. Considering that the few people who would purchase this ball would probably be moving from one of the current models, it would not bring additional income to the company. That means the entire process would add cost with no financial gain. If we never knew about these specialty tour balls (like it used to be in past years) we likely would be happy with one of our current offerings.

There are several prototypes on the pro tour. Left dash X made it to market. Left dot V has been teased. Some fall by the wayside. Others have features incorporated into existing lines.

There has to be a market for a new line of balls. Simply cutting into existing sales with a low volume ball with a higher unit cost is likely part of the equation.
