  1. I have played the ProV golf ball exclusively for the last 12 years. I love them. I found a Titleist ProV1 with a TEST printed on the side. That ProV seemed to play better than the ProV’s I play. I do not know if it’s a placebo effect or it was designed differently. Much lower flight. It even appeared to spin more on the green. I would love to play a sleeve or two and provide feed back to Titleist. How do I become a tester on prototype/test balls? I found this ball plugged in the fairway at my country club and am very interested in learning more about Titleist TEST golf balls. This is the first time I have ever seen this on a ball.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Titleist offers testing samples to limited number of users. How they are selected is not public. Approaching them to offer yourself is not part of the process.

The ball may be a 2025. limited release. If you have the current (2025-2026) edition, it should be the same.. The balls do differ from release to release, so it is useful to know which you have in stock.

Just checking, the ball marked TEST does have the ball number in black, and not red.? There were both V and X made available at some TT events. Sometimes the pre-release balls end up at some of these events.

Fill out your profile completely and you could possibly receive test balls in the future. They still are on a very limited test release so even with a complete profile, many people will not receive them. Another way to get them is to attend events around the time period when testing occurs, usually 3-6 months before the normal cycle. We have received boxes to test at some of those events.
