I traded my 60-07 and 64-07 for this. I found it to be a very versatile club compared to both put together (and they are good in their own right). It works equally well for high trajectory bunker shots in both hard/wet sand and soft stuff. Also works on plush turf (don't have to open the blade like with the 54-11 or 58-12) or tight lies equally. I did notice it has a wider sole vs the 60-07. Has anybody else used the 62-07? For the Titleist gurus, what type of sole grind does the 62-07 have?

    Lou,

The 62.07 derived from the 260.06.  You are correct, in that you will see a wider sole in the 62.07 than the 60.07.  The 60.07 displays an E grind, where as there is no name that is associated with the current 62.07's grind.

It allowed me to conquer the Admiral Baker clubhouse practice bunker today (it is deep bunker with wet packed sand). I tossed a ball in the middle of the bunker and hit a shot that dropped a foot from the middle flag on the practice green. I also went over to the bunker near the driving range (which has soft sand) and hit a shot from the right side to a 20 ft wide practice green and it dropped in the middle. When I came home from the store yesterday I went to the park near my house and did a few shots. Did a flop shot over a 12 foot tree that was about 15 feet from where I stood.

    Lou,

Sounds like you found a great wedge to hold on to.  Wouldn't mind having a short game like yours :).

Makes up for my middle game and short putts (they are slowly coming around).

I love the 62-07. I've simplified my Vokey setup to 54-11 (bent to 55) and 62-07. I returned the 58-12 to the store (it was giving me all sorts of fits) and put the funds into a reshaft project for one of my two sets of irons.
