    I am currently around a 22 and I am looking to buy some new irons my tendency is to hit a high ball flight ball from left to right

    i play to a 3, try looking on ebay for a mix set like 735's and have them fitted for loft@lie, that should help get you under control and save you some busk's as well. cavity long and semi blade short's work exceptionally well.

    Speaking from personal experience, I would recomend taking a couple of lessons first. You may find you don't need the new irons (but if you are like most golfers you will probably still want them). Also get fitted for the correct ones. I took 3 lessons and really improved my swing, making better contact, getting more distance and consistancy. I just purchased new AP1 irons that were fitted to my swing. Made all the difference in the world.
