I had shoulder surgery and re-shafted my old AP2 clubs with the Graphite Design Tour AD 65 I shafts in a stiff flex. The lighter weight feels very good (increased my ball speed by 6 mph), the low torque provides great control and is great out of the rough, and the D4 swing weight (1/2 inch long) lets me still feel the head position. I would like to get new clubs but do not want the made for Titeist shaft shown in your custom options as it does not have the same low torque value. Is it possible to order the new AP2 712 clubs with the original Graphite Design Tour AD 65 I shaft in a stiff flex. If so what would be the up charge and how would I order them. My fitter just tells me they are not available as they are not listed in your custom options.

I have played Titleist clubs for over 20 years and would like to continue. My clubs do have to be replaced. I play year round 4-5 times a week plus practice and I have had these irons since they first came out so they are very worn in the center. I just need to know how to obtain them without buying a set and having the shafts changed out. Can you help me?

Unless something changed or moved while I blinked, your desired shaft, the Tour AD 65i is still shown as an available Titleist custom option in A,R & S flex in the current Titleist Custom Catalog on page (9). I just checked a minute ago, 01/23/2014 @ 1030AM Price is listed as "standard" charge, which means there is no upcharge for that shaft. I have brand new 712 AP1's with the same shaft, Tour AD 65i for Titleist only in A flex. I love the way those babies launch. I wholeheartedly agree with you. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
