HI, i am about 14 HC. I play once a week, I have 710 AP1. I've been thinking about CB for last 3 weeks, but my questions is, with 14 HC, is it too hard to play CB?

The AP1 would certainly be more forgiving and just in the most general sense, a better club for someone around your handicap. That said, if you are like me and simply prefer looking down at something much more traditional, the little bit of comfort zone you would get looking at the CB irons might induce you to practice more to improve.
Considering its game improvement technology, is there some reason you don't want to consider the AP2?
Dennis, I played with 690.cb before i purchased AP1. thats why i was considering back to new CB. i never thought about AP2.
is there big difference between CB and AP2? I know most of single HC play with AP2

Brian,
I was in your exact same situation a year ago, 13 handicap playing the AP2's but never feeling like I was getting the flight and consistency I wanted and I wanted a change in "look" of my club as I was playing the AP2 for the last 4 years.
I decided to switch to the CB knowing they would be a bit more difficult... boy was I wrong, the flight was so much more piercing for me and all last year after getting the CB's I have had more shots closer to the pin than combined in the last 4 years.. I love the CB's and just bumped up to the new 712's just because I love em... terrible reason I know:)
Don't be afraid of the CB's, I think more people playing the AP2 would be surprised how forgiving they really are and how much better the flight is. I know you can mess around with shafts and such but overall I just simply love the looks, and feel of the CB's. Handicap has gone down to around 7 now and honestly, I contribute a lot of that to better iron shots closer to the pin for easier putts. Just my thoughts, good luck
