Not really a Titleist I suppose but my first was my Acushnet Bullseye flange putter. It cost me $16.00 in 1967. Best of all I still have it. I had a set of the original DCI Black irons that I bought in the mid-nineties. That was my first set of Titleist irons. Unfortunately some low born bottom feeder stole them a few years later. Perhaps I shouldn't say that. No point in dragging bottom feeders down to the level of the thief.

I'd image $16.00 in 1967 was pricey for a putter.
DCI's were also my first Titleist irons back about the same time. Those were great irons and I played em for a few years before switching to something else. Some scumbag got himself a nice set when he snatched yours.

Titleist CJ (?) 57* sand wedge in 2007. $19 at Golf Mart
Vokey 258-12 later in the year brand new.
I had saved my money from various odd jobs. For the $16.00 I did get the option of a form of custom fitting. Three lengths, three lies and a choice of grip were available for that price.

For me it was either a Titleist Dead Center SP-201 putter back in the early 90's or possibly a PT15 3 metal wood. No idea what ever became of either of those clubs. Wish I still had the Dead Center though. Do you remember the first Titlest you got your hands on?
Not sure which came first for me, a Scotty Futura from 2003 or the 983K driver. Man, I hit some bombs with that driver!

1982 Tour model irons. 2-pw. Still possibly the best irons I've ever hit. Sweet spot was small, but when i hit it, it felt like butter. Hit it high, hit it low, worked it left and right. First iron I ever "backed up". Awesome clubs. Christian, thanks for starting this thread and the trip down memory lane!

My first was a set of DCI Gold, I think it was 1992. Loved those clubs; sold them to a friend when I upgraded to newer DCIs.

I remember when I was very young in my golf career a friend had a Titleist Stardust Driver, and I hit that a few times and fell in love. The sound, the feel, the classic look... just an amazing product. Shortly after I bought a set of the DCI black irons, and then later purchased my first Scotty Cameron Terrylium as well as the Titleist Titanium driver. Have bought nothing but Titleist clubs and products ever since (3 Iron sets, 3 drivers, 2 fairway metals, Several vokey wedges, and 3 scotty cameron putters). Love everything about them, and everytime I purchase a new product I know that it is the best product on the market. Keep up the good work Team Titleist!.

For me its my 1985 tour model irons (2-PW). Don't laugh but its still the irons I play. I am just getting back into golf after a 15 year layoff. Maybe time for a Titleist iron upgrade!

Boy, do I. In 1976 I bought a set of Titleist Pro 100 irons and beautiful, cherry stained laminated woods. They were great sticks that I played for 5 years.

My first was back in 1973. I was 13 and caddying at The Country Club of New Bedford. The pro was Houston "Paddy" LeClair, a New England legend. The club was a Titleist Dual Wedge and I had to have it. He let me take the club on credit and I took 2 round trips every weekend until it was paid off.
40 years later and I still have that dual wedge and still a Titleist fan.
I use the photo of the wedge as my profile picture.

A couple of years ago, I bought my first Vokey wedge. It was a 56*. Once I played it, I had to get more, so I then got a 48*, 52* and 60*. Then I moved onto the 910 D2, 910F, and 910H. The only thing left are my irons...maybe next year?

The first Titleist club in the bag was a Vokey 60 degree wedge. I won it at a golf outing and, compared to the png tour wedges I was using, was awesome. I was an instant Vokey junkie after hitting that club and moved my irons and woods over to Titleist shortly after and have never looked back.

My First Titleist Clubs were a set of DCI-990 Irons, followed by a 975J driver shortly thereafter.
