+1 inch custom order

    Hi.

    I'm trying to buy an used 712 CB iron which was custom ordered(+1 inch and 1 degree strong) through Titleist.

    Does Titleist use a lighter weight head for +1 inch custom order set to make the swing weight D2 like stock standard ?

    The swingweight will not be D2.  At 1" over with a standard shaft and grip, the swingweight will be D8 +/-1.  Stock standard swingweights are for a standard shaft, at standard length with a stock grip.  If you change a component, the swingweight will also change.

    I have ordered my new 714ap2 with a Mid-size grip and they have got D4

    You could use a lighter shaft and heavier mid size grip to acheive a lower swingweight potentially... +3/4 of an inch also would help lower swingweights...most people I know with longer shafts prefer D3-D5 swingweights...but it is a personal thing! Work with your fitter or the Titleist Staff since they both will help!
