2009 Vokey Spin Milled Wedges

    I have a question.  With the new groove rule in effect, I have heard that all manufacturers will not be able to produce and sell any more 2009 and before wedges starting in 2011.  With that said, I will be in the market for some new Vokey Spin Milled Wedges this year and will need to custom order them as I play a Dynamic Gold X100 shaft.  I currently have a set now but the grooves are getting a little worn.  I want to stock up on two or three more sets while I can still get the old groove. Can anyone at Titleist let me know if I still will be able to custom order the 2009 version (the one's with the square grooves).  I will be looking to custom order these around October and was wondering if Titleist will have any of the old heads left by then.

    You are right in that we will not be able to produce or sell the current Vokey wedges after December, 2010.  You should be fine ordering them in October.  We are ordering heads based on our forecast for this year and are planning on being able to build and ship till mid-end of December when our manufacturing facility closes for the Christmas holiday.

    I was under the impression consumers would not be able to get square groove clubs, wedges or irons, after 2010 (this year).     You referenced 2011 does that mean they will still be available through 2011 to purchase?

    Sorry it wasn't clear.....stores will be able to sell them (if they have any), but we will not be able to build custom/stock and ship after this year.
