Terry G. I agree with your praise. I just picked up the exact same driver including the same shaft over the winter and was able to take it out for my 1st round last Friday. I am 66 years old and can still put it out there at 275-280 yds. Like I said it was my 1st full 18 Friday and I only missed 2 fairways with the best driver I have ever played. IMHO you will not be disappointed. Enjoy that new weapon.

Just curious to know, how different is the performance between the D3 and the D2 models? Is the difference between these 2 clubs just a matter of aesthetics?....or do they perform different in any way?

The D2 is more forgiving but I find that I can work the ball left/right, right/left easier with the smaller head of the D3 without losing forgiveness. When I hit the sweet spot which is 9 out of 10 times it flies. Love to see that high fade or that low draw when needed. But Aesthetics also played a part on my choice. Can't wrap my head around the big block head.
