Hi Gang, I'd love to hear some "real world" feedback from anyone playing the T-MB 2i. I recently pulled my 19 degree hybrid from the bag and added a 60 degree Vokey just because I had the space. Although I don't miss the accuracy woes of the hybrid off the tee, I've found I need a 230-235 yard club in numerous spots at my home course (specifically off the tee). I haven't played a utility iron since the 503M but I think that is about to change. I'll demo the T-MB this weekend but would love to hear your thoughts on the club

  2. The 2 iron T-MB is incredible! However, for most it will not replace the Hybrid...

I used a lighter shaft in the club and feel is crisp! It blends in with MB, CB or AP2's very nicely however take a look at the lofts since they are different...

    Good Luck!
  3. Hi, had the opportunity to try new T-MB against 716 AP2 4-iron; 4-iron felt softer off of face on similar strikes, but T-MB flew higher (although similar distance). I preferred the AP2, although the T-MB would possibly be more forgiving. You could see the muscle bulge at the back of the T-MB club head at address, if that matters to you (didn't bother me, but AP2 just looked a tad nicer). If you can compare AP1 vs AP2 'feel', T-MB felt similarly hard off of face as AP1, and probably blend seamlessly into AP1 set.

I recently picked one up after years of playing a Titleist 503.h 19 degree. I could never hit traditional hybrids for some reason, and the 503.h fit my eye with its iron shape.

I absolutely love the T-MB 2 iron. I can hit it 225 to 230 yards. It's perfect off the deck and off the tee. I loved it so much that I picked up the 3 iron as well.

For reference I have a driver swing speed of 105 mph and have the T-MB in Dynamic Gold AMT S300. Hope this helps.

    Hey JR,

I was in the same boat although I never liked hybrids so I stuck a 3TMB in the bag this year. I must say its one of my favorite clubs to hit. Just like any other iron swing and its pure. The speed coming off the club its great and it makes it so much easier off the tee.

I've played T-MB 2, 4 and 5 irons since they were released last year and think they're absolutely brilliant clubs. Although you don't get the forgiveness of an equivalent hybrid (obviously) they're still relatively easy to hit and when you strike it out the centre it goes like a rocket!

I don't know if its just me but my 2 iron seems to get quite a bit of height on it but still manages to keep the distance I'd be hoping to achieve with a 2 iron.

I hope you enjoy the club as much as I do!

I had a opportunity to demo the 2 T-MB and that iron was awesome! Definitely made me feel a bit more convenient than I do with my hybrids. I would love to switch and add them to my line up! I would def try them out and get fitted if you do like them.
