I thought this question looked familiar and had seen it previously (August 1, 2016, by CJ Watkins). I do not think that Titleist makes a dual strap for the cart bags. The single straps on these bags are on the opposite side of the bag where a dual strap would fit. I have the cart bag and could not imagine carrying it. I use it only for a riding cart on or my Clicgear push cart. I have not seen one on the internet. I could be wrong but I have not seen one. I have three types of bags, a staff tour bag, the cart bag, and a lightweight carry bag. A bag for any occasion. Titleist carries awesome bags. With respect. Cheers, Chuck

I would like to do the same. Wish Titleist would offer a dual strap for sale. Shouldn't be that hard for Titleist to come up with this option.

The way a cart bag is designed the top cuff is reversed. So, the clubs are typically positioned in the bag exactly opposite of how they are positioned in a carry bag. With a cart bag, when on a riding cart, the clubs face out so that the shorter clubs are easily accessible, with the longer clubs behind them, so every club is right there in front of you, without having to reach around any clubs to get at others. And the strap is hidden in the back, out of the way.

On the other hand, when a carry bag is used on a cart, with the pockets facing out for access, the longer clubs kind of block access to the shorter clubs (unless you turn the bag sideways). You have to reach around longer clubs to get to the shorter ones. And the strap always seems to be in the way of the pockets.

Cart bags are called cart bags because that's exactly what they are designed for. They are not designed for carrying 18 holes. The strap on a cart bag is to make it easy to carry your clubs from your car or to the range or other short distances. Cart bags are usually heavier than carry bags. And due to all the extra storage compartments in a cart bag they typically grow even heavier over time. I can not imagine carrying my cart bag for more than a hole or two, before running out of gas. It just makes it in under the 50-pound weight limit at the airport check-in.

I also have a matching (colors) Titleist Lightweight 14-way carry bag I use for walking. During the hot summer, I rarely walk, but I do like to walk when the humidity isn't off the charts and/or the temps are more reasonable. I love to walk on nice fall days. And, into (and through) the winter, as long as the course is open, walking is a good way to keep a little warmer. I can't imagine carrying a cart bag for 18 or even 9 holes.

This is probably why it is so hard to find double straps for cart bags. They just aren't designed for that activity. However, if you are going to try and carry a fully-loaded cart bag for 18 holes, having a double strap would certainly help your back.
