714AP2 vs 704CB

    Any insight into why im about a club shorter with AP2 than 704CB irons...consistent through the set? E.g. 704CB 5 iron off a Tee 200 yards carry, 714AP2 5 iron 188 carry. I play to a 5 handicap. Appreciate any idea or feedback!!

    I could be the shafts...are they the same. Also, you should have the lofts checked...many times as you use them more frequently they have the potential to change slightly.

    Thanks for the feedback...I'll look into the lofts. Shafts are the same S300 Dynamic Gold

    I have the same problem. I hit a Titleist 716 Blade 7 iron about 180, and a 714 AP2 around 165. Very Interseting as I am a +2 handicap. I think it has to do with lofts and impact alignments. not quite sure though.
