  1. I recently picked up a 816 23 deg but I still have my 915 4h (24 deg) around. I want to convince my self that the 816 is better but I like the way the 915 looks and feels.

What are your thoughts on the main performance difference?

I'm in the same dilemma. Have the 3 hybrid in 915 but considering the same degree hybrid in the 816
  3. I would like to know as well

I was in the same boat (sort of). Replaced my 915h 24 degree with the 816 23 degree and gained about 5-10 yards. I say "about" since I've only been able to hit on Trackman and simulators here in Michigan. Other reports I've read seem to back this up as well.
As far as feel I'd say its virtually identical to the 915 and the grey color isn't that noticeable unless you hold the two side-by-side.
I had the companion 21 degree 915h that I've since replaced with the 816 18*. Its going to be fun spring adjusting to the new distances!

I have a 19° and 23° 816 H1. I tried the 915s but loved the feel, control and ball flight of the 816s. When fit with the correct shaft/grip/swing weight...the 816 outperforms the 915 all around. For me that is.
  6. Hmmm... Have you gotten the 816 fitted yet? Once that is done it may feel better to you.
  7. Thanks for the response. I have not gotten fitted yet. I will definitely do that (soon) before getting rid of either one.
    Keep you guys posted.
