I love my hybrids! I have the 915 Hd 3H and 4H. I also have the 915F. My 3-wood goes about 255 and my 3H goes 230. I don't have any problem with the gap. It depends on your game though. If you are consistently in your gap, then that will grow to be a little bit troublesome. Like I said, I love my hybrids and would highly recommend one!

That's tough to say. For me personally I have the 816 H2 21 degree and I find that I have about a 20-30 yard gap between that and my 3 wood. I would think somewhere around there depending on the loft you decide.

It depends on what loft of hybrid you get and what loft you have on your current wood. Swing speed will have a factor as well. I have a 15 degree 915 3 wood that carries 230 and a 19 degree 916 Hybrid that carries about 210 so about 20 yards of difference

You need to be properly fitted in order to get the correct gapping. A good fitter can help you find the right head (H1 or H2), the right shaft, and the right settings for your hybrid(s). Most frequently, gaps should be 10-15 yards between clubs, although with some of the bigger hitters these days, there may be a bit wider gap between clubs.

In my experience hybrids are their own fickle creature. They can play like an iron or a fairway wood and loft doesn't necessarily mean distance. Also there is a playing difference in the H1 and H2 (not to mention the 818s will be out soon). I know you'll hear this a lot but go to a knowledgeable fitter who has access to a TrackMan. You'll want to know your launch angle and spin rate to make the best purchase.

The distance gap will depend on the degree of the club and how you hit the club. I attempted to purchase a hybrid to fit a gap in my clubs but due to how high I hit the club, it completely overlapped my 4 iron. I would highly recommend visiting a pro or at least a golf store that you can test hit some clubs.

I would suggest getting fitted. I personally have 19 degree as my 3 iron so my 3 wood fits in perfectly around a 20 yard gap in carry

Depending upon the hybrid you purchase, your swing and the shaft/grip combo you use it could be spot on or a large gap. I would suggest getting fit from a Certified Titleist fitter to test hybrids and find out exactly what's best for your game.

For me, I have an 816 H1 19° and it's gapped perfect off the tee vs my 915 F 16.5° (about 10 - 15 yards). Off the deck I use my hybrid instead of 3 wood because I get better average distance and dispersion.
