Loft on AP2 718 gap wedge

    I just received my custom AP2 718 set. I ordered them 2 degrees strong. The gap wedge says "50" on the bottom. However, that is the standard AP2 gap wedge loft. Is it really 48 degrees since I ordered my iron set 2 degrees strong?

    I would say yes- it would have been manufactured to 50 degree and adjusted to 48- they wouldn't be set up to stamp their gap wedge for the number of options available for loft adjustment
