What's up everyone!
So....I have a question. We recently had a Titleist demo day at our course. I was excited to try out the 818H1 vs my 915H, and really liked the feel and launch of the 818H1. But I play my hybrid at +.5", and my question for the fitter was "if I play my hybrid at +.5" would I need to change the Surefit CG weight, to a lighter weight to counteract the weight of the extra length?" He laughed out load at me when I asked this...like it was a dumb question (honestly I felt dumb for even asking after). But I thought it made sense....maybe not. That's why I'm asking here
I was under the assumption from reading on here that when the length is made longer, or even shorter it adds or negates the swing weight, and that's what the whole point of optimizing the Surefit CG? So when altering the shaft weight, or length, or whatever the Surefit CG weights was then used to optimize the head weight to make a desired swing weight (or it can used to make any length play lie a stock 818 swing weight at any length, or any shaftweight, and play like an off the rack 818).
Does that make sense or am I crazy?
Thanks so much for your help!!!!
