Just ordered new T400 irons this week and can't wait to try them! I got the Fubuki shaft in senior flex 7-8-9-pw-43*-49*. aT 69 years old I definitely need LOTS of help!

Just across the State line from you to the East and I bought a 7i to demo a couple months ago. Have not been able to hit it yet due to a shoulder surgery, but anxious to see how it compares to the C16 I've been using the last few years. Hopefully, you'll pop back in to give us a review once you get them in play.

Trying to revive the conversation and see if Greg M or anyone else can update on the T400. I have purchased a set that I haven't gotten to use yet due to a shoulder issue and snow on the ground. Leaving on 1/13 to spend six weeks in St. George Utah and will play a few rounds. Hoping they are as friendly on full swings as they are chipping around the rec room.

So glad you got the clubs I know you'll love them! I played Beech Mountain many years ago when I had a friend who lived there. Hope you have a great trip to Utah!

I've been using AP1s then had a set of AP3s. My T400's are a joy to use. Don't get too excited about a 7 iron being the same loft as a T300 5 iron. It has been several years since a 5 iron was anything more than to have enough irons for resale. By comparison, the T400 outperformed the T300 5 iron. I purchased 6-43 thinking the 6 iron would be the new placeholder, but even that at 23 degrees is performs to a 23 hybrid. Just need more experience to decide if it will be as consistent as the 23 H. My wedges are 48/54/58, hence the 43 T400.

I was using the AVX for more roll-out, but finding the V works better on hitting and holding greens. My second choice would be the Tour Speed over the AVX for the same reason. Your results may vary. For comparison, a high 80's (210-215 yards) driver head speed is my limited limit. Have fun next week.

Thanks Don. At this point I don't know what my driver swing speed is. Haven't played since before shoulder surgery in July. Still painful, especially at the top of the backswing. I'm hoping the lighter weight and softer shafts will ease some of that and still yield some launch and distance. I bought a couple TS1 drivers for the same reason. Hard to get an idea just chipping around the rec room, but I like the look and feel. Planning on trying a round late next week and may jump back in to offer a review of the clubs and new Pro V1's that Titleist sent me to test.
