Has anybody experienced a different sound (loud clang) on a particular iron in their set of these clubs? The acoustic dampening on the set works really well except for my 7 iron which is very loud. I have narrowed it down to the toe area which sounds significantly louder than the rest of the head. I've 'sound tapped' against other clubs and this is the only one. Is there an easy remedy? Can the sound plate on the back be removed and re-seated? I'm guessing it's an epoxy issue on the plate fitting. Many thanks Jeff

If this is a new set of clubs I would recommend taking that club back to the store/shop where your purchased the set with your receipt, where they can contact Titleist about the possibility of repair or replacement. Titleist has a one year warranty on their clubs.

If the clubs are older than a year, I would recommend finding a certified Titleist account in the area that does repair work and see about repairing it locally or returning it to Titleist for repair.

    Odd.
7 iron is commonly available for fittings. A fitter can let you try that. If different, you can send it back for an inspection.
  4. Funny you should say this - I've always felt that my 7 iron has a slightly different strike noise and from time to time, will absolutely fly off the club face and go an extra 10 yards.

I've just thought it was a bit odd but didn't do anything about it. Purchased early 21
