Aldila RIP Beta Shafts (Green Eyes)

    Spoke to Cathi from Team Titleist and she said Titleist is in the process of testing the RIP Beta Shaft (X-Stiff Only, not sure why).

    I'm looking to order a 910F Fairway Wood before April 1.

    1) Will the Aldila RIP Beta (mid launch/mid spin) shaft be available soon? Do you hav an exact date?

    2) Since the RIP Alpha is a STANDARD/NO CHARGE option for 910 Drivers and Fairway Woods, if and when the RIP Beta becomes available, will it be a STANDARD/NO CHARGE option?

    Hello Minh,  We are in process of testing the RIP Beta and the only RIP beta shaft that has passed inspection is the X flex.  No other flexes have passed our inspection at this time.  We don't have a timetable for them passing inspection because it takes a while for them to complete durability and what we call "shaper" testing.  The RIP Alpha is stock and at no charge, but there will probably be a charge for the RIP Beta and the Gamma because we will not be ordering thousands of those shafts.  As of now,  we don't have any pricing.

    Thanks for the quick and complete answer. I'm very impressed with Titleist Customer Service.

    Glad to also know how much you guys test a product before adding it to your custom shaft option.
