The shaft length from the end of the adapter tip to the end of the grip is 44 1/2" which will make the overall playing length of the driver be 45 1/2".

Lou, I’m pretty sure Titleist changed their standard driver length to 45.5” starting with the TS series.

Hi, standard is 45 1/2 for Titleist driver.
Mainly all OEM are using longer shafts than a 45 inches since many years. The reason is the greater distance obtained with a longer club due to the longer radius generating more speed.
The major problem is dispersion and control.
I am playing a 45 inches because it is easier for me to hit the middle of the face. This is increasing distance also.
Also, one thing to think about is when you cut 1/2 inch of driver, this is reducing swing weight by 3 points. So the head weight should be increase by 6 grams.
At time of fitting, it is where you should try various lengths and different swing weights, to have a better fit.

Titleist increase the standard length starting with the TS models - TS1 was 45.75" and TS2, TS3, and TS4 being 45.5". The current GTs are all 45.5" for men, 44.5 for women.
