I don't see anyone gaming the GT4, and am curious what the tradeoffs may be going with the 4 over the 3 as I currently game a TSi3 and want to upgrade to the GT. My driver swing speeds during a round are between 125-130mph unless I'm really trying to step on one (I'm 6'7" and was a pitcher for a long time).

I love the shaft I have (Ventus Black 6-x 65g X-stiff) and don't really want to pay to get fit just to try two driver heads a couple times each. I want to limit the spin as much as possible on my driver so i can feel comfortable hitting it when the hole isn't wide open, but also know that I need forgiveness.

Has anyone hit both, or know what the tradeoffs are between the 3 and the 4? I've read the Titleist page on both but was hoping to get some insight from you all. Thanks!

The fitting fee gets applied to the order so you are really getting the fitting for free. If you pick the wrong head and shaft, the money lost in trade in value is much greater than the free fitting. Maybe take that into consideration before you make a decision based on other people’s swings.
