  1. I want to get a GT1 hybrid. In the website it says that a regular version can be ordered rather than the lightweight version. Does anyone know what they do to make it heavier? It is just heavier head weights or do they do heavier shaft as well?

I am trying to recreate a TSi1 hybrid I put a Tensei blue shaft in.

I had a fitting for a GT1 20degree hybrid 75g Tensi blue . I was fit to 1/2 shorter than standard so +2 grams . Weights are 7 g in front and 9 g in back. Didn’t specify any thing special so 7 and 9 config seems to be standard . This is not a light club by any means but not sure how different a standard GT1 config is different from a heavier version other than maybe a lighter shaft

This why we recommend seeing a fitter. They can check to see your needs. Mine set me up and I love the combination: My driver is a GT2, 55gm. My fairways; GT2 and TSR1 65gm and my hybrids; TSR1 and GT3, 75gm. All are Tensei IK blue Y regular shafts. Of course they do make a 85gr. But I stand by going to see a fitter. I never purchase a club from them without them checking me out and fitting me accordingly. Just makes good sense for me.

True - a new fairway is 400$ . My thinking is I can go to a big box store and walk out immediately with what I think works or I can get fit by a Titleist fitter and a week or so later , open the box get true value for my 400$
