  1. Recently got fit into a combo set of the new T-Series irons. T250 in the 4 & 5 irons, T150 6 through PW. First time gaming a combo set. Loving the clubs and the fit so far but just a couple rounds with the new sticks. I was on the fence about the combo set vs. going straight T150 through the set.

For anyone with a similar combo set up that’s been playing them for a bit longer - Any thoughts / opinions / regrets on going with the combo set versus the full set of T150s?

Let Trackman be your guide. The T250 should improve/maintain the flight characteristics of your shorter irons. Your fitter must have seen a drop off based on ball speed and spin. An all matched set looks good, but if a T150 4 iron comes in too flat, you’ll have a hard time holding an approach shot

We can’t tell if that will work for you. It may work for someone else but their head/ball speed and spin characteristics will be their’s, not yours.

I think a matched set (all same model) may be better for resale but I put together the best set combination for me to correctly gap my yardages and score better. I'm in miz MP 245/243 combo set now and have ordered T250/T150 combo set.
  4. It’s down to personal preference, I just got fitted for the new T250 (2025) and trialed the T150, and found on the lower end of the bag it came out flatter, so the T250s provided more benefits and stability to my golf game. You won’t truly know until you have tried them and done a full gapping session.
  5. S Kelley: Did you weaken the T250 lofts? They seem very strong.
  6. First few rounds under the belt with new T-Series. Governors, Schoolmaster, Fighting Joe.
Moved from a full set of T200(2023) into combo.
Higher, spinnier, and the feel is superb. T150 slightly softer and the T250 feels more solid, slightly firmer, giving me the confidence I want in the ball speeds coming off the face for my mid-long irons.
The biggest thing for me is how I’ve not manipulated my swing but these things are comfortably 5-10 feet higher in the air and due to that new apex, I’m watching it fly and going at greens I’m seeing my roll out go from 4-6ft to 4-6inches. Averaging 2-3 birdies a round where I’d usually feel great grabbing one or two every 2-3 rounds! For a 7/8 HCP I’m going to slash that by another 2-4 points by end of this year heading into next year. Confident in that. Holden, my Titleist fitter, nailed the shaft component for me. Modus120 Stiff. The timing of it is so easy to sync up through the bag. Keeps my tempo steady and the heavier feel gets me into the slot far more often.

    I’m coming out of a full set of T200 (2023) 4-9.

Coming out of a KBS Tour Lite in prior gen set.
U505 3 iron with Tensei Blue 85 Stiff shaft matching my GT Dr&Fwy. Great option off the tee for fairways and Par 5’s in 2 are now almost always attainable. Not to mention any crazy long par 3’s! The height of these irons are game changers for confidently attacking flagsticks or just playing to a number trusting it’ll hold.
