GT3 Weight Issue

    I have a GT3 driver with the standard 8g weight. From doing some research online, sounds like the stock weight of the GT3 driver head with that 8g weight should be 195g but mine is measuring only 193g. I've measured a number of other things on the scale which all show to be accurate so I don't think it's a scale issue. Has anyone else had a GT3 head come in 2g light of what it should be?

    Titleist doesn’t build to a specific club weight.

    There are 3 variables in play. Due to manufacturing variations, the heads do not come at all the exact wight. The 2nd is the weight distribution of the various shafts used. The 3rd is the weight of the grip chosen.

    What they do for build accuracy is adjust the weight of the head to create a specific static swing weight. There are multiple checks along the build progress with highly accurate equipment that records the values and stop the process if a club is out of spec. The factory tour is amazing to see it in action.
