How can I get the numbers for the head covers? Just want my 3 wood to have the number 3.

Not sure I understand the question but if you have a headcover like the GT cover and it says 4 or 5, the plastic number holder can be pried open and the number flipped around to match the club you are using.

The plastic part that has the number opens up, and you'll find all the pertinent numbers inside. Display the one you want, close it back up.

The last set of head covers with the big numbers that I had were Wilson 1200s. That was in the 1970s. Had the 1,3,4 and 5.

I believe that the numbers inside give you the lofts., so you can adjust your clubs accordingly. They should have a number of lofts available, including the stock loft, i.e. 15.0*
