    I found this ebay seller who does "Black Oxide Finishing" for irons. Their store is "Chop Shop Golf". I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried them... or has changed the finish of their irons???

    My next question would be is... what effect will it have in the clubs in regards to performance? And would this be legal under USGA and R&A Rules regarding conforming clubs?

    The best black oxide finishing in the business is Black Oxide Services. They are fantastic. www.bosgolf.com Your equipment should still be legal as long as they do not alter the grooves in any way.
