Yes. One of the features on the last several versions of bags is a removable strap system. It really helps the caddies to carry double bags without the dual straps getting in the way. You just disconnect both and then pull one out of the plastic cross-support and then reinsert the right or left strap you prefer to use. You can go into any retail store (when they open again) and test the system of any bag they have in stock. Enjoy!

Mark I'm not sure if I have the Players 4 or Plus (friend won it in a tournament, already had a new bag and sold it to me for a song) but it came with a single strap included.

Sounds like a much older bag if it has a separate single strap that you have to buckle in. The last several versions of carry bags have had quick release snaps and you just pull off one of the two for single use. The first quick release bags had round quick release connectors and some were breaking so the last two versions have had sturdy square quick release snaps.

You can change your strap to a single strap however most Titleist Stand/Hybrid bags are designed for two straps.

I took the 2nd part of the strap off my backpack style to make it one strap...works and looks great - easy to do too.

Mike. Is the Dual / Single Strap true for the Premium Stand Bag?

Check out the Linksmaster series. These have both a single strap and backpack strap that are interchange able. They use metal hardware that make switching between them very easy.

Truly the best Titleist bag Ive seen!

Was an early adopter of the Linksmaster bag as my club was one of the first to offer it.

I walk 90% of my rounds and was happy with the bag for the first 9 months or so.

Its really not holding up very well. The zipper on the ball bag has completley come undone. The dividers between the 3 section are starting to bunch in the middle and now they don't keep the clubs seperate which leads to all kinds of club tangle.

Given the construction of the zippers looks robust and supposed to be waterproof I reach out to Titleist about a repair of the ball zipper and was 100% denied. The bag is bascially useless now because i can't put it on my back without all my golf balls and ball markers falling out.

Going back to Sun Mountain. They stand behind their products and the logevity and quality seems to be better. Linksmaster is Titleist top flight carry bag. They sell it for a premium+ price. To get ZERO willingness to fix it after only 17 months of use is pretty weak.

I would avoid this bag as they really haven't figured out how to deliver this particular product. Maybe it gets better in Gen 2 or 3.

Sorry you had a bad experience with the Linksmaster bag. Most golf bag companies have similar warranties and once the golf is out of said warranty there is really not much they can do. You will find that Sun Mountain has the same warranty on it's bags as Titleist. One year from date of purchase....... I think that Sun Mountain would have done the same thing in this particular case if it had been their bag.
