    Gents I'm one who prefers not to carry any items in my pockets during play (sounds picky I know), yet still need essentials such as ball markers and divot tools. I have a hat clip for my ball mark, however the divot tool is not so easy. I did purchase a leather belt by Ken Rick with a belt buckle feature that discretely slides the divot tool into (see attached photo). Quite nice, yet bulky on hot days. I can hear you now...Just hire a caddy!

    Seeking suggestions from others on what your solutions are. Please share any photos. Thinking I could attach a divot tool (looking online for Titleist options) to a towel, then carry it along with my putter to the greens. Hoping one of you has a solution that works well you could share. So many golf gadgets out there, trying to simplify. Many Thanks

    Some people I play with use a simple tee as a divot tool...just like a one prong tool. Definitely would keep your pockets light and wallet heavy.

    I’ve been using a freebie divot tool for about 13 years now and occasionally use a tee. I recently just had a custom one made to memorialize one of my coworkers and golfing buddies who was killed. My ball marker I usually just carry in my pocket along with the divot tool and they don’t bother me there. The coin was just thrown in the picture to go along with the divot tool for context.

    This works good for me...lays flat in your pocket...would work better with the TT logo on it!

    Generally carry a couple of markers (a coin and my TT marker) and one tool in my bag. This coin is a 20 cent piece from Australia. Perfect size. The repair tool is very lightweight and fits nicely in my pocket and never gets in the way and does an outstanding repairing greens. From Kirkwood National in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Had one like it from Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, my favorite from playing there many times, lost it and found these while playing in Holly Springs. Picked up a few. Carry the coins more because the are thinner (Ireland, Bahamas, Bermuda). I have the red Scotty tool and but just tool awkward in my pocket. It is a beaut.......

    Most of the time I use a tee (even if I have a divot tool in my pocket). If you don’t like it in your pocket just use the band of your hat to hold it, slide it under the back

    Finding a sweet divot tool that you like is part of the experience! I have one that i grabbed from a golf course i visited on vacation. Just a simple, sleek two prong design that has the course logo on it. No marker or anything, just the tool. If you are able to visit/play any sweet golf courses in your area or travels, they'll definitely have a cool one available. It is a neat way to have a memory in your pocket!

    Do not think it really matters what type of tool you are using as long as you are correctly repairing the divot mark.
    Rule of thumb, repair yours and two more. USGA has a great video regarding the repair of ball marks. Cheers and happy putting.

    Have a bunch of those, collected from different courses all over. Private courses seem to favor those.

    Have been given those as tee gifts at tournaments and gave them away to friends who really liked them. Found them bulky. Great idea! Compact, all in one gadget.

    this is mine. I dont think i can ever go back to dual prongs. Its just so much better/easier with one prong.

    Vokey/Titleist sold them in 2018/19. I believe they had 3 colors.

    I use the Scotty Cameron clip tool and clip it to the inside of my pocket. I'm like you, I hate anything in pockets including a wallet, scorecard, etc...

    I have used Cameron tools for years. The only drawback is they get pretty sharp after prolonged use. I've drawn blood a time or two on my leg with one.

    I’ve done it as well jumping into the cart.... I wish Scotty would made a steel single prong, like the Seamus one I’m currently using.

    The belt buckle is a bit of a neat idea actually. Not sure what you mean by it being bulky. I have a current divot tool that has a belt hook on the back of it.

    I'm personally not a fan of having things in my pockets either. I used to just use a tee that I would just slide under the bottom of my hat all the time and it works well enough

    I like my Scotty tool the best. If you like a single prong, png makes a real nice one.

    I use a tee, but as long as it does the job... use a fork if you want. Just fix yours and at least 1 more. I can’t count the number of incredible courses I have played that looked as if they were infected by chickenpox. All it takes is a couple inconsiderate or lazy regulars and it seams to spread faster than Covid.

    I use the SC flat black tool and the vokey single prong with bottle opener in antique silver finish.

    The bottle opener part gets used more often.

    I also like to travel light and use a tee. I found the USGA video to be a worthwhile review on how to repair pitch marks. Thank you.
