How many rounds do you all get out of your gloves?

I’ve moved to the Titleist Players glove and was wondering how many rounds people get out a glove before finding that they’ve overstretched or worn? Having relatively small hands I find that the men’s small is a good fit but can be prone to stretch a bit.

I can't say how many rounds each glove has as you add in range sessions and what not. I gamer the FootJoy Pure Touch and play roughly 4-6 rounds a week. I replace my glove at this pace about once a month.

One season, one glove...about 30 rounds

I play around 25-30 rounds per year and practice one to two times a week - I usually buy two new gloves once per year and they will last me most of the season. I have a couple that are still serviceable from prior years that I rotate into the mix as backups when I am playing on rainy days.

Like you, I'm in the Titleist Players but in a Cadet ML (sawed off fingers, wide palms). I try to keep one glove for practice and one for playing. I used to use the FJ StaSof. They lasted a little bit longer before they wore out as they're a tad thicker. After trying the Player's and liking the feel I made the switch.

To answer your question directly - I get about 25 - 30 rounds before I either throw them away or tear open a freshie. New glove day is always a good day!

I get the best performance with the Footjoy Stasof. For me they seem to outlast all the others. Been getting around 20 to 25 rounds out of a glove before replacing it. Your performance may vary.

I have been using the Players glove for about 7 years now and wear varies. I play 3 days a week and practice 3 days a week. Practice consists of hitting a pyramid (204) of balls chips, pitches and bunker shots. My hands sweat a lot, so in the summer the glove will become brittle faster. I recently switched to the FJ Sta Sof. I noticed that the fit was the same in all 6 gloves (Got the buy 6 get one free promo), whereas I would have to try about 6 or 8 Players gloves to find the same fit. I wonder why that is.

Like you I live in an area where it is hot and humid. June thru August can be brutal on Golf Glove. Titleist and FootJoy lead the way when it comes to quality golf gloves. I too play the FJ StaSof. But when the conditions get brutal, I go to my raingrip glove because of the humiture or the FJ Tropicool. The "Tropicool" is a glove that made especially for our conditions. Gets wet, grips better and it is washable. Just "do not" put it in the drier. Get dirty, because they are white. Just spray the palms with a little shout, rub them together and throw in the washer. Lay them on towel to dry. I can get a whole summer out of one. Highly recommend. If you cannot find locally, go to footjoy.com. Regarding you comment about having to try on many gloves to find right fit. Common problem in todays market with any product mass produced. Same here with gloves and hats/caps. Did you check my LINQ regarding golf glove fitting? How we fit customers at events.

I don't know about rounds, but I feel that The Players glove is not very durable. I really like the Perma Soft. This glove is more durable and lasts several more rounds.

Here is a link that might be helpful in purchasing a glove, whether it be Titleist or FootJoy. Could improve how long your glove will last and improve your performance. Getting the right fit! It works. =)

I get about a month to a month and a half out of the Titleist Players glove. It's well used during that period and even though it seems FJ gloves tend to last longer, I just love the feel of the Players glove!

I get about 6-7 rounds out of a glove max. I do keep it for range/practice use...
