Sta-Dry Golf Bag options

    Why does the US only have one Sta-Dry bag option (Player 4). Titleist manufacturers several other Sta-Dry bag options that are sold in other countries but they are not available in the US. Can the US have the same Sta-Dry bag options the rest of the world can buy?

    Bag availability is based on sales of previous versions. The UK leads in sales of StaDry bags which is not surprising given the inclement weather they usually have compared to the USA. When Titleist ends up with excessive stock of unsold bags, it impacts company profits.

    That is completely understandable about excessive stock impacting profits. This isn’t about additional models. Titleist already manufactures these bags, so it is more of an inventory management. Stock levels can easily be handled.

    Also, with six StaDry options, the UK is always going to lead sales in StaDry bags when limiting the US to one option (Players 4 StaDry). Canada only has two options (Players 4 StaDry and Cart 14 StaDry). While the UK has four stand StaDry options, plus two cart StaDry bags.

    Over 25 years ago when I lived in Scottsdale and Glendale Arizona I never even owned rain gear or a golf umbrella. After living in other parts of the US, I wouldn’t leave the house without my rain gear in my bag.

    Personally, I don’t even understand why anyone would spend over $400 for a bag that wasn’t StaDry.

    It would be nice to have the US offer at least four of the six StaDry already being manufactured. Two cost conscious StaDry (Players 4 StaDry and Cart 14 StaDry) and two premium bag options (Tour Series Premium Stand StaDry and Tour Series Premium Cart StaDry).
