I have to work hard to not listen to my favorite coach - me... My first Cameron was a Futura, as I thought that is what would work best for me, and the "putter expert" at a box retailer was willing to agree that this would be best for me. I spent most of last year uncomfortable from 3-8 feet. I would miss L/R by as much as I would from 8-15 feet. At the end of the season went to the putting studio as my local AFC/Showcase Partner. At the end of the session, moved from a 34 Futura to a 33 Newport-2 (LH), along with some other tips. Using a blade for the first time on my putting mat on hardwood floors, spent the winter practicing. Playing my first full round today, used 32 putts for 18 holes, with no 3 putts. My chipping helped a lot, but that's my best putting stroke count. Putter was the last club not professionally fit and I'm still amazed at the results that getting fit for the entire bag gets.

  2. I have been there before and I now I believe that if you have the opportunity get "FIT" for a putter at the Scotty Cameron Gallery in Encinitas California. It is as much a putting lesson using technology as it is a putter fitting. You will NOT regret it!

    Good Luck!
