I am mostly right-handed playing left. I lost most of the vision in my left eye a year ago from a TIA and am noticing that the left hand does little for the swing. I really need to engage the left side more for the added zip to the swing. Any help would be appreciated.

As a LH golfer, I've marveled that PM is RH except for golf. Apparently more Canadian golfers are LH than in the states due to the LH slap shot that is controlled by the right arm. Being a natural LH, I've often wondered if I should be a RH golfer. I've gotten over that, but bilateral core strengthening and hip rotation will do more for zip than arm strength. I have access to a TPI instructor that has zipped my game more through focusing on core strength and flexibility. If you watch PM on tee boxes this year, his driver shot routine has him with practice swings in both directions. At 48 he has added 6 mph club head speed. I'm no longer 48, and I haven't gotten 6 mph yet, but I've added some club head speed not focusing on pushing iron. Someone else may be able to suggest something like an Orange Whip as a training tool to increase rotational speed.

Don the Orange Whip is an excellent training aid!
