Looking for advice or drills for tempo. I’ve played golf like others for a very long time…currently a 7 handicap. Post winter…and newborn son…have made tempo an absolute nightmare. Tips on how to have solid tempo with newborn and post winter? Thanks in advance

The Lag shot 7 iron early in the golf season always help me with tempo.

Now that my teaching pro is back. Going to see him. Having same issue.
  4. What helped me was slowing down, slowing down the tempo of my swing. I did daily training exercises, my favorite being the 3-1-3, where I would take three practice swings, pause for one second, and then make the actual swing. This helps establish a stable rhythm and tempo. I used a metronome on my smartphone; there are plenty of cool apps available.

Before each swing, I imagine myself executing a smooth and controlled swing with the correct tempo. This mental visualization helps reinforce the desired tempo and prepares for a smoother motion.

So I advise you not to forget about deep breaths, visualization, and patience in training. Remember that PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.
