  1. I played my First ever Club Championship this weekend at Chelsfield Lakes, Orpington. The course was in superb condition so big congratulations go to the Club and Team. The competition took place over Two days. Whilst my first round was not what I had hoped for, I stood on the 15th Tee playing 168 yards with 6 iron in hand and hit my ProV1 onto the green and watched it hit and roll up to the pin then disappear My playing partners yelled, I was open mouthed for a moment then other players came over to congratulate me. Social Distancing of course ! So my round which, as I mentioned earlier, had not gone the way I planned suddenly felt so good. This is my First Hole in One and having been playing Golf for some 30+ years I can say that after all that practice joy and frustrations it’s been worth it Big shout to Titleist and I also managed to keep the ball in play for the remaining 3 holes !
