I knew I was going to be close when I hit my tee shot on the #4 hole, but didn't expect an ACE! The ball landed about 6" to the left of the hole and then disappeared! I was stunned! One thing I remember is that I was playing well that day, and just eight holes later on the 12th hole lightning almost struck twice! This par 3 was playing 125 yards, four yards shorter than previous one that I had aced. When I hit my tee shot, one of my buddies started cussing in disbelief! The ball looked like it landed on top of the pin, but we couldn't see that part of the green from the tee box. I had to laugh! When we got to the green, the ball was about 3 feet directed behind the pin. That would have really been something! We had a very enjoyable round that day and I finished with a 79.....thanks in large part to my hole in one!
