On 08/31/21 I was playing Town of Oyster Bay golf course in Woodbury, NY. I recorded my first Ace on hole 3, the card said 133 yards. I had the yardage as 144 a uphill green, flag stick in the front. I used my 7 Iron, we saw it on a perfect line to the flag and then heard the ball strike the flag stick. From the tee box we couldn’t see the green. As I walked up to the green I saw a ball on the back of the green, thinking it’s my ball after a hit to the flag stick I walked in it’s direction but than stopped and walked over to the hole. Seeing my #2 Titleist Pro V1x at the bottom of the cup and how the shot took out the front side edge of the cup, I was NUMB, elated, happy and proud to join the Hole in One Club after 30+ plus years.
