My wife and I have been playing golf for 15 months, when on Thursday, 26 August 2021 my foursome was on Hole #7, Par 3, 175 Yards at the Eldorado Country Club in McKinney, Texas, 30 miles north of Dallas. Fortunately, the reason my wife and I are playing golf is because Mike & Karen Murray (who were my witnesses) had given us 2 sets of clubs and lessons, in order that we would learn to play and join them in the sport. It was 95 degrees, hot, muggy and no breeze. I teed off first and everyone said I was on the green; but, we could not see the ball. After the others teed off, we drove to the green and no ball. Everyone searched and finally Mike said "Look in the cup." Sure enough, there was my Hole-In-One. 1 per cent skill and 99 per cent luck. We took the obligatory photographs, registered at the Club House and hit the bar. UNBELIEVABLE! Thanks to all who make this a great sport!
