  1. Come hither my children and you shall hear a tale of woe, heartbreak & tears. For on this day amid the wind & the heat' my thrill of victory became the agony of defeat!

On Tuesday, 16 November 2021, myself, Sue, Mike Murray and Robert Salazar were playing golf at the Eldorado Country Club. The winds were gusting at 30+ MPH and our shots were all over the course. I teed up on Hole #5 (Par 3/158 years), which begins on a small bluff, crosses a water ravine and moves uphill to the green. My first shot with a cally Iron #6 and a NEW cally Soft Chrome ball sailed into the wind, went left, went right, cleared the green and landed at the flower beds (OUT OF BOUNDS). I decided to hit a second drive (OLD Titelist 3 scratch ball). Again, into the wind and lost from sight. Everyone else teed off and no one landed on the green. We made our way down to the lower area and I chipped onto the green with my first ball. Sue was the first to "putt out" and discovered my Titelist 3 scratch ball in the hole. SO ... because I had taken a second shot (2 stroke penalty for the first ball traveling OUT OF BOUNDS), this Hole-In-One became a Par 3. As my good friend Charlie Brown always says "ARGH"! Titlelist is having a huge belly laugh because their ball (even though it was old and beaten-somewhat like its driver) made it into the hole; whereas, cally's new ball sailed Out of Bounds. That is why it is called GOLF ... because all of the other 4 letter words were taken!! A happy and safe Thanksgiving to each of you! Dennis Williams, McKinney, Texas

POSTSCRIPT: THOUGHT the company would get a laugh out of this story! Titelist make GREAT products! THANKS! D
