Made my first hole-in-one on the 177 yard Par 3 8th hole at Country Club of the South, in Alpharetta, GA, on 12/22/21. I hit an M6 model 6-hybrid to a back right pin position. It felt great off the club, and just never left the flag. It landed about 12 feet in front of the hole, bounced twice, and rolled in center cup. We (my group) were able to see the ball go in, and obviously, I was absolutely elated. One of my playing partners had his first hole-in-one in March playing a ProV1, and I had witnessed his, so he was there to reciprocate.
I had switched from the ProV1x to the AVX this season, after a friend had suggested I try a softer ball. He had recently switched as well. Started playing with the ball and I seem to hit it a little farther and straighter. My handicap has dropped to my lowest ever (4.7) from 7.2 at the beginning of the year. Couldn't be happier finishing the year on a high-note, and love playing Titleist golf balls!
Happy Holidays!
