This was actually my third hole-in-one but the first one I saw with my own eyes go into the hole. It was a beautiful sunny day in Walnut Creek and the tee box looks down over the green where the flagstick was situated 121 yards from the ladies' tees in the middle of the green. I used my 7 iron and watched the shot fly a nice high arc, land on the fringe and roll up onto the green straight for the hole. For a second it looked like it might be slowing to a stop an inch from the hole, but then it dropped in!
